Mornings at the Green White Solutions office begin with cheerful music and wishes for a successful week – this is the signature approach of recruiter Sevara Umarova. Two years ago, she started her career here as an office manager, left for another company for a while, and then returned – but in a new role as a recruitment specialist.
We talked to Sevara about how she ended up in HR, what attracts her to working with IT specialists, and how she managed to break the stereotype that working in a male team is difficult.
The path to HR
Working as an office manager, I was always interested in why good specialists leave such a great company like ours, with a good team and career prospects. This prompted me to study HR and look for answers. Now I understand how important this work is – to retain and attract talented people.
I love learning new things – I read books on psychology and business, attend exhibitions and am constantly learning. I like to communicate, get to know people, their interests. Maybe that's why HR has become not just a job for me, but a real passion.
A chance meeting that became fate
My acquaintance with Green White Solutions was absolutely chance. I had an interview with Aziz Sultanov - a bright and charismatic person. He is strict, but at the same time knows how to create an atmosphere in which you want to work and develop.
This is how my path to Green White Solutions began. In addition to standard tasks, I also organized events and business trainings, and this gave me a sense of the first small victories. One of these events was Nikolay Doroshchuk's training. This was my first experience organizing a large event, and it was a great success!
Working with a team of IT specialists and breaking stereotypes
When I first joined the company, I thought that working in a male team was difficult (more than 80% of our colleagues are men). But this turned out to be just a stereotype. Our employees are professionals, and everyone here respects the work of others. We are all different, but this only enriches the company culture. Working with such people is a real pleasure.
In my spare time
In my free time, I study English, go dancing, I like to walk or take a ride in a car in the evening in Tashkent. My hometown has changed for the better - it has become beautiful and bright. I also try not to miss art exhibitions, and I paint myself in my spare time!
Personal goals and future at Green White Solutions
I am not resting on my laurels. In the next five years, I plan to become a professional in HR. I have a checklist of goals that I intend to achieve, and the company helps me grow and develop. At Green White Solutions, every employee is an important part of a big puzzle, and everyone is important for achieving success!
Sevara Umarova, with her persistence and determination, has proven that constant self-development leads to success. Having started her career as an office manager, she not only returned to the company as an HR specialist, but also took her rightful place in the team, making a significant contribution to the creation of the future of Green White Solutions and the development of the IT industry in Uzbekistan.
