At Green White Solutions, they don’t just work – they build the future. Meet Iskandar Bakhodirov, a man who has proven that dreams can come true. Today, he told us how he went from a mathematics graduate to a project manager at one of the leading IT companies.
The beginning of the journey: mathematics as a foundation
"As a child, I didn’t know what I wanted to become, but I always felt that my path would be connected with mathematics,” Iskandar recalls. In 2016, he graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Faculty of Mathematics. He was attracted to the field of digital technologies, as this is one of the best areas for applying mathematics. In this field, you can not only study theory, but also apply mathematical knowledge in real life.
Green White Solutions – First Place of Work
"After graduating from university, I had two choices, like most graduates: continue my studies in a master's program or start teaching in schools or colleges. I decided to postpone my master's program, choosing financial independence," says Iskandar. On the advice of friends, he decided to try himself in the field of digital technologies and officially started working at Green White Solutions on June 17, 2017. Before that, he spent three months independently studying programming languages and another three months working at the company as a programming intern.
"Starting as a programming intern, I grew with the company. Today, I am a project manager. If you know the inner workings of IT, you will understand that many leaders started from technical positions. This is a natural path," says Iskandar.
Special Project
"I have worked on almost all of our company's projects, but the UZPHARMINFO project is especially close to me - on the digitalization of services of the regulatory body of Uzbekistan - the 'Center for Pharmaceutical Safety'.
When our company first received this project in 2019, I was appointed as a database architect and started working on the project as a senior programmer," says Iskandar. "This was a new challenge for me. Today, I hold the position of project manager, which makes it especially significant for me."
Currently, the UZPHARMINFO project employs about 10 specialists, including programmers, business analysts, a scrum master and a project manager. "There is no strict concept of 'management' in our team. All specialists are equal and are responsible for a quality result in accordance with the Scrum framework," says Iskandar.

Challenges as a growth engine
"Green White Solutions is constantly taking on new challenges, which creates unique growth opportunities. This is not just a job - it is a dynamic environment where you can develop. Of course, such a pace of development can be difficult for those who are not used to it, but if you strive for rapid professional growth and are ready to take on active challenges, then you will find your place here," Iskandar is sure.
Hobbies as a source of inspiration
"Today, I try to spend my free time with my family, study English, read books on management and teamwork, attend Latin American dance classes! All these activities help me find balance and are an incentive to create something new in my work!" - Iskandar shares.
In 10 years…
"I dream of becoming part of a strong team, working on a successful and useful project for people. Taking on new challenges in work and life, and growing! Traveling, getting to know new cultures. If possible, teaching at the University and passing on my knowledge and experience to future generations," Iskandar shares his plans.
