Smartup in 2024: Achievements, Growth and New Horizons

Green White Solutions is an IT company in Uzbekistan that has become a symbol of innovation and efficiency. We do not just develop automation solutions — we keep up with the times, helping businesses reach new heights.

2024 has become a year of growth, innovation, and new achievements for us. We have proudly watched as our flagship product Smartup transforms the approach to distribution management in various segments. Offering advanced tools, the platform helps distributors optimize business processes, reduce time on routine tasks, and ensure control over the work of field employees even in the most remote regions of Uzbekistan.

Today, we would like to summarize the outgoing year, highlighting key achievements, and share plans for 2025.

Smartup is a cloud platform for distribution automation that helps more than 600 companies in Central Asia manage sales, monitor KPIs, and improve the effectiveness of trade marketing.

Smartup is not just a distribution platform, it is a universal tool that covers trade marketing management, wholesale and retail trade. In 2024, we introduced a new module "Marking", allowing our clients to work effectively with digital marking and minimize financial risks. We are proud to remain the leader in the CPG (SFA) market of Uzbekistan and help our clients achieve better results.

Key achievements of 2024

  • + 19,500 active users. The number of users increased by 3,000 people.
  • New clients include market leaders. For example, Chortoq Mineral Water and Salar Meat Product (TM Sherin). Major market players such as ASKLEPIY, GLAMOUR COSMETICS, AKTASH WATER and TO’XTANIYOZ-OTA continued their work on Smartup X.
  • Entering new markets. Work has been successfully launched in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

In the spring of 2024, we launched work with a partner in Kyrgyzstan, Tentech, and in the fall we held a large seminar for clients in Bishkek, which brought together representatives of over 30 distribution and retail companies in the country. We continue our active work in neighboring Tajikistan, where large distributors of the FMCG segment have already started working in Smartup. It is worth noting that for work in these markets, our solution was translated into Kyrgyz and Tajik, which expanded the capabilities of our product!

Expanding functionality

In 2024, the Smartup development team worked hard to ensure that the platform meets changing market requirements and new business rules.

Over the year, 6 releases were released, including updates and improvements to functionality. These changes are aimed at further simplifying distribution automation processes, increasing ease of use and helping customers solve their problems more efficiently.

We continue to listen to our users' feedback to ensure that Smartup remains a reliable tool for developing their business.

In 2024, several key improvements were implemented in various areas. In terms of the interface, we redesigned the “Task Manager” for the mobile application, reworked the “Orders” module with the addition of new functions, and introduced a new approach to displaying errors with suggestions for their correction. System performance was significantly improved due to server load optimization and comprehensive refactoring of various modules, including Marking and Trade Marketing. In the area of ​​integration, we successfully connected more than three new services, updated the functionality of the Telegram bot and migrated to Flutter 3 SDK with an update to the latest stable version.

Educational initiatives

Last year, Smartup held a huge number of online and offline trainings and seminars for current and potential users of the system, which were attended by more than 3,000 people both in Uzbekistan and in neighboring countries. Educational webinars and master classes are a key tool that helps our users not only understand the functionality of the system, but also effectively use it to solve business problems.

As part of the events, Green White Solutions specialists, together with international experts, including Nikolay Doroshchuk (Austria), Saidakhror Burkhanov and Shokhrukh Ibragimov (Japan), shared valuable experience. The speakers talked about international business practices, the development of HR departments and personnel management.

In 2024, Smartup held more than 40 webinars and face-to-face seminars. In total, more than 3,000 participants took part in these events, including representatives of regional clients, partners, and industry experts.

Among them, I would like to highlight five key events that strengthened interaction with clients and revealed new opportunities for Smartup. These are: an inspiring webinar on digital business transformation with Nikolay Doroshchuk, Smartup Day with employee cases on software development, training for financial specialists on reporting management, a seminar on digital labeling with a demonstration of new API solutions, and a meeting in Samarkand, where automation of distribution and trade was discussed. These events became an important stage in the exchange of experience and the development of partnerships.

Participation of Smartup specialists in social activities helps to share experience, inspire young specialists and form a positive image of the company as an expert and leader in its field. Head of the Mobile Development Department Zarifzhon Ergashev, as part of the summer camp organized by the Leaders Club (Yetakchilar Klubi), gave lectures and shared his knowledge with an audience of more than 2,000 listeners from different parts of the country.

The COO of Smartup, Valery Khan, actively shares his experience and knowledge. He has repeatedly been a guest lecturer at leading universities in the country, such as the University of Webster and MDIS.

His lectures help students and young professionals better understand modern approaches to business process management and automation, as well as adopt best practices from the real sector.

In the fall, we held three guest lectures at the University of Webster and the Singapore Management University in Tashkent, where we discussed with students current issues on the automation of business processes in modern business, and also touched upon our company's experience in managing startup projects in a dynamic environment. Sharing experiences with the academic environment allows students to gain relevant knowledge, and companies to contribute to the training of future specialists and potential employees.

Smartup Academy - an important project for the IT industry

Smartup Academy is a social project of Green White Solutions aimed at developing IT talents among the youth of Uzbekistan. The Academy provides a unique opportunity to master in-demand skills and take the first steps in the world of high technology, opening up prospects for building a successful career.

  • Affordable training: Students who meet the grant requirements can take a 9-month course absolutely free of charge, as the training is fully funded by the company.
  • Investments in the future: The project is aimed at supporting talented youth and developing the IT sector in the country, which contributes to the formation of a new generation of specialists and strengthening the region's economy.

Smartup Academy is more than just training. It is an opportunity for young people to reveal their potential, gain relevant knowledge and become part of the developing IT industry.

We have implemented projects with IT Park and the khokimiyats of Termez and Shaykhantakhur districts. In Termez, about 1,500 students and schoolchildren applied, in Shaykhantakhur - more than 1,000 applicants. Among 550 applications for the ToT program, 33 participants were selected who successfully completed 7-month training in the Uzbek language. It is gratifying that 5 graduates were invited to work in our company.

2024 in figures

2024 has become a period of new opportunities and victories for the company. Thanks to the expansion of the system's presence in Central Asian countries, the total number of users has increased by 20%.

Every day, the Smartup Customer Care Service receives dozens of customer requests from Uzbekistan and neighboring countries. Employees are ready to answer questions in 3 languages: Uzbek, Russian and English. This helps increase trust and respect from customers.

In 2024, 13,000 requests were processed — 7,700 more than last year, which means a 59% increase. This result was possible due to the active use of the system by users, which was facilitated by online and offline events, as well as a complete modernization of the customer care department. The main focus was not only on settings, but also on demonstrating the value of the product: we offer not just a system, but a ready-made solution.

Contribution to the development of customers' businesses: more than 600 successful cases

Smartup helps customers effectively solve key business problems, providing measurable results and increasing the competitiveness of companies.

  • Green Line Trading (FMCG distributor): Thanks to the implementation of Smartup, the number of successful orders increased by 46%, which significantly increased operational efficiency.
  • Rozmetov (distributor): The company has reduced Out of Stock (OOS) by 35% and accelerated the formation of reconciliation acts by 70% by optimizing accounting processes.
  • SV-Cluster (distributor of household chemicals): In the first three months of working in Smartup, the company reduced the amount of accounts receivable by 90%.
  • Official representative of Liqui Moly: Noted a significant increase in the transparency of business processes. With the help of Smartup, it was possible to ensure full tracking of order fulfillment anywhere in the country and quickly respond to failures. This strengthened the trust of customers and partners in the company.

On October 25, Smartup took part in the prestigious Central Eurasia @ Silicon Valley event held in California. This event brought together leading startups of Central Eurasia, including companies from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and other countries. For Smartup, this was an opportunity to showcase its achievements and show the company's role in the development of IT solutions for businesses in the region.

Smartup was also part of the delegation of startups representing Uzbekistan at the international conference TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco, one of the key platforms for discussing innovations and forming partnerships in the field of technology.

2025 plans and strategic goals

In 2025, Smartup will continue to improve the system's functionality, making it even more convenient and tailored to customer needs. Particular emphasis will be placed on:

Customer support: Developing customer service and automating key processes will become the foundation for helping businesses achieve their goals. Smartup will continue to introduce new capabilities to facilitate growth and improve the efficiency of its customers.
Entering new markets: The company's solutions will be tailored to local needs, including business specifics, language features, as well as requirements for digital labeling and accounting.

Our next goal is to strengthen our position in Central Asian countries and expand our presence in other CIS countries. We are actively adapting the system to the needs of local partners in order to match their business realities.
In the medium term, by 2030, we plan to develop the markets of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, expanding the company’s geography and supporting the development of our clients’ businesses outside of Central Asia.
