On January 28, U-Enter in Tashkent hosted Unicorn Battle, an event that brought together leaders of the innovation ecosystem: investors, partners, and startups. More than 120 startups from various industries applied. As a result, 18 startups with MVPs were selected from among the applicants, ready to present their solutions and demonstrate the potential for scaling.
Among those present were venture investors and representatives of major funds such as UzCard VC, Semurg VC, IT Park Ventures, Aloqa Ventures, Sturgeon Capital, and the recently created United Ventures. Also, Vladimir Norov, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, spoke as an honorary guest, noting the importance of startups and new technologies for the region.
After intensive pitches, three startups became finalists: Azma Finance, Tilmoch, and Verifix, which received recognition for the high quality of their products and innovative approach.
The winner of the "Battle of the Unicorns" was the Verifix project, one of the products of Green White Solutions. This is a new generation HR platform that simplifies processes, reduces costs and turns routine into strategic opportunities - so that companies can focus on people and development. Now the Verifix team will represent Uzbekistan at the Unicorn Cup in Silicon Valley.
